This year, 55 students and recent graduates were selected to participate in a special edition of the training program.
For two months, the youngsters will benefit from the expertise of over 35 mentors, who will use their experience to guide students in different areas of specialization.
Given the pandemic context in which we find ourselves, this year's edition will have an important online component, in order to be in line with all the recommendations coming from the authorities, in the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
"From our records, we exceed the threshold of 1,500 people who have passed, so far, through our internship programs. We have in front of us an edition that will take place in accordance with the current context, in which physically we will not be as close to each other. However, we have this online leverage, which will help us enormously in the theoretical segments and we trust in the dedication of our mentors and in the proactive attitude of the students, eager to consolidate their knowledge and to absorb new information”, said Nicoleta Mihaiţă, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager within KMG International (Rompetrol).
The first part of the internship program (August 3 - August 31) will take place exclusively online, followed by practice modules in September, if the epidemiological context allows, in the Petromidia Năvodari and Vega Ploieşti refineries, within the Rompetrol Rafinare companies, Rominserv, Midia Marine Terminal and Rompetrol Quality Control, but also within Rompetrol Well Services, at the well services division.
As a premiere this year, the 55 students will also go through the “Leaders Explore” program of the Leaders Foundation, during which they will develop their soft skills, such as communication, empathy, adaptability and active listening.
