The 2024 turnaround was highly complex, involving several modernization programs to support operational and safety objectives at the Petromidia platform.
The entire process was coordinated by Rominserv, the general contractor of the KMG International Group (Rompetrol), over nearly two months, from March to May 2024.
Key data:
- Approximately 3,000 people worked simultaneously;
- Over 40 companies were involved in the turnaround activities;
- Over 270,000 cubic meters of scaffolding;
- More than 40 lifting equipment units;
- More than 1,620 static, rotating, and electrical equipment units were inspected;
- Approximately 3,200 pipelines were evaluated.
The Petromidia turnaround was completed with the support of Rominserv specialists on-site every day for nearly two months, supervising every action undertaken by the subcontracted companies.
