Goals:
A new configuration of the 138FV3 regenerator, based on the study of the UOP licensor, for the operation of a catalytic cracking unit at a capacity of 185 m3/ h.
General description:
- Detailed Design based on the UOP study
- 5 sets of cyclones (1st and 2nd stages)
- plenum chamber in the new configuration of cyclones
- air distributor
- regenerator top cover
- replacement of the refractory protection of the regenerator
The project’s outcome is the improved flows, reduced emissions, savings of raw materials and energy consumption, as well as increased mechanical availability of the Catalytic Cracking Unit and decreased risk of unscheduled/emergency shutdowns of the unit.
The project was completed on April 23, 2020.
